Birthday card blunder

I was writing two birthday cards at the same thing, one for my grandma and one for my boyfriend. On my (diabetic) grandma’s card, I wrote, "I love you so much, Gram-Gram! Have a great birthday, and remember, don't have too much cake!”  My boyfriend's read, "Hey, handsome. I just want to let you know you're the best ever! I love you so much, since the moment I laid eyes on you. I hope you have a great birthday, and don't forget our date this Friday! You're the best thing that's ever happened to me... XOXO."

 

It turns out that I put them into the wrong envelopes! My boyfriend thought I was implying that he needed a diet and my grandma showed up at my house that Friday thinking we were going to dinner together!
