Schooled by superlatives

My school’s yearbook always has some superlatives that everyone gets to vote on, things like “best smile” or “cutest dimples”. I made my way over to the sign-up sheet one day and put my crush’s name down for just about every single one. I was so busy scribbling, I didn’t notice he was standing right behind me.

 

I still blush when I see him in the halls, but hopefully I’ll get to see him a couple of times in the yearbook!
