Mood Ring Nightmare

I was in a store trying on a mood ring when my crush, who was shopping for his little sister’s birthday, walked by. He came over and wanted to see if his sis would like the ring, so he lifted my hand to get a better look. The ring exploded into a cloudy red, which the chart right in front us said meant “passionate.” I’m not sure which of us was more embarrassed!
