Adorable pics of you and your BFF’s can cover your walls without spending the money on tons of frames! Try buying some wacky washi tape and simply post your pics above your desk and bed. You can brighten up your room with pics and funky colored and patterned tape for a whole new look.
Good as new
Got an old poster that you heart too much to toss, but are too embarrassed of to display? Try this remake on for size! You can use paint to mask part of the original artwork and let certain symbols or letters show through (use skinny masking tape to block it out), or try cutting another piece of colored posterboard the same size and carefully using an X-acto knife to cut out sayings. Attach the two and there ya go!
Cool clothespins
Clothespins and a bit of twine or wire are an easy, ever-changing way to display photos and keepsakes and keep your room looking artsy and original. It’s easy: Ask Mom or Dad to help you hammer small nails into your wall. Tie string or wire to them in a line—horizontal, vertical, diagonal, anything goes—then pin away.
