Berry Good Smoothie
It seems as though every smoothie in the world contains banana and I’m not crazy about bananas, even if they are the perfect breakfast food. For all of you banana-haters, I’ve found that if I add a quarter or a half of a banana, it’s barely noticeable to my taste buds. It’s okay to use milk instead of soy milk but we love the creamy taste of “White Wave’s Silk” soy milk. Also, us girls need to eat soy and here’s another way to get it.
What You’ll Need:
1/2 banana
1/2 cup each: frozen strawberries
frozen blueberries
apple cider or juice (or orange juice)
vanilla soy milk (or milk)
What You’ll Do:
Put all the ingredients in a blender. Hold down the blender top with one hand and blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more juice and blend again. Drink immediately before the shake melts.
