3 easy Burrata toast recipes to level up your breakfast

There's a cheese taking TikTok by storm, and its name is Burrata. Creamy and spreadable, Burrata is all the best parts of cream cheese with a taste similar to mozzarella. When you add it to toast, not only do you get some FoodTok worthy visuals, but you also get a *major* breakfast glow-up. Not sure what flavors to start with? Keep reading for some easy—and delish—recipe inspo.

The following recipes all use the same bread base. We found that sourdough or similarly sliced bread works best, but any sandwich bread can work on busier mornings. There are 3 ways to toast the bread:

1. Pan-fried. Drizzle olive oil in a pan and toast your bread to your desired degree on medium heat on both sides. Use tongs or a spatula to flip the bread.

2. Toaster oven. Drizzle olive oil on your bread slice and bake it in your toaster oven to your desired degree. If your toaster oven has a "broil" setting, that works, too.

3. Toaster. Prepare your bread just as you would a standard piece of toast (the best option for an on-the-go girl).

OK, now that we've got our toast, onto the toppings...

1. Blueberries & honey

Wash blueberries and set them aside. Then, take a butter knife and generously spread the Burrata on the bread. Sprinkle your blueberries on top of the cheese and finish with a drizzle of honey. Voila!

2. Avocado

Slice an avocado in half and set one piece aside. With the remaining half, use a spoon to separate the avocado from the peel. Then, take a knife and slice the avocado vertically. Place a slice on your toast, followed by a dollop of Burrata. Repeat this step until your toast is covered. Lastly, take balsamic vinegar and drizzle it lightly over your toast (a little goes a long way!).

3. Peach

Tbh, this variation could work with any stone fruit. Wash and slice up your peach. Spread some Burrata generously over the toast before arranging the peach slices across it. For a stronger flavor addition, drizzle lightly with balsamic vinegar. If you're in the mood for something sweet, honey is the way to go. Add a couple of mint leaves if you're feeling fancy.
