1. Get daring with fashion 

With limited time left to make a statement, go all out with your fashion choices at school. That maxi you’ve been too scared to rock? This is the time to wear it. The lazy days of summer are for bathing suits and drawstring shorts, not your new neon necklace. Every morning will be a blast experimenting with new looks. 

2. Study hard for finals 

One of biggest causes of end of year blues can be final exams. This year, look at them as a final time to shine. Leave school on a good note by acing your tests and making your teachers proud. Study charts, flash cards, sticky notes: use whatever you need to succeed. All your hard work will pay off, we promise.

3. Throw an end-of-year party 

If boring school days are still getting you down, add some excitement by throwing an end of year party. Get your friends involved and plan anything from an outdoor movie with your dad’s projector to pizza by the pool. Everyone will be so busy getting pumped for the party, they won’t have time to complain about school.

4. Make plans for summer

Hours of lounging poolside and day-long movie marathons may seem tempting now, but after a week, all that stuff will seem seriously boring. Plan ahead and figure out how you are going to fill your lazy summer days. Post a babysitting ad in the local newspaper, find a summer camp where you can volunteer or organize a sports league with friends. Prep now so you can nip summer boredom in the bud!
