    Try it: Straightener Swirls

Did you know you could wave and curl your hair just by using a straightener? There’s really no need to purchase a curling iron when you’ve got this trick down pat.

    1. This works best with a skinny, less bulky straightener. Take the same amount of hair that you would take to straighten (about 2 inches). Start about 4 inches down your hair and fold the hair backward (away from your face).

    2. Glide your flat iron down your hair slowly. Continue to fold the hair in different directions for each section of hair. The hotter the flat iron and the slower you move it down your hair, the curlier your hair will be.

    3. Hairspray!

    Try it: Lipstick blush

Beautifying on a budget! Save money on beauty supplies by using lipstick for your lips and your cheeks. Use any satin or matte finish lipstick for this look.

    1. Glide your thumb across your lipstick stick and then rub the color between your thumb and your pointer finger.

    2. Give yourself a big smile in the mirror and tap your fingers along the upper half of your cheeks and across your cheekbones.

    3. Do this on both sides and make sure the color is blended and even on both sides.
