MAKE IT CUTE

8:30: When we get to the studio, we start unpacking all of the awesome clothes our editors have picked to dress the three models in.

9:30: The models start getting prepped in hair and makeup—including our awesome GL intern, Rachael! “A last minute photo op meant I got to hop in the chair and get my nails and makeup done. Super fun!”

10:00: When there’s some downtime, everyone checks out the jewelry we brought. There are so many options; no one could resist trying on their fave pieces.

 

So. Many. Jewels.

10:30: Kate, another GL intern, is fallin’ in love with the super cute braid our model Gabby is sporting.  “I’m always looking for cute ways to keep my hair out of my face at dances. Now I know what look I’ll be using for my next night out!”

11:00: After the models finish one style, they’re back in the chair for a whole new look! They’re rockin’ a smokey eye one minute, and a killer bright lip the next.

12:30: A quick stop for lunch and watching our hair and makeup pros work. If we’re lucky, they’ll give us a quick tip or two!

1:30: One GL intern has total closet envy! “It’s impossible not to want to go shopping after seeing all these clothes,” Brittany says.  “They’re all so cute and fun…I’m getting great ideas of new ways to put together outfits.”

2:00: We’re having a blast watching the editors pick out fashion and accessory options and decide what lipstick and eye shades each model should be wearing. They make it look so effortless!

3:30: And that’s a wrap! The models are finished for the day and heading home. Time for the rest of us to pack up the clothes and get back to the GL offices to check out all the awesome pics!
