MAKE IT CUTE

Turn your old CDs into an *adorable* windchime
Upcycling is *so* in right now, and this easy DIY will truly turn trash into trasure. Hang your windchime in the backyard, use it as an exotic room decoration or as a makeshift locker chandelier! The best part: You can finally get rid of all those scratched-up CDs.
You'll need:
One coffee can (with the label removed)
Two coffee can lids
One hole punch
Paint or permanent markers
Fishing line
5 CDs
Directions:
1. Decorate your CDs and coffee can. If you're using the windchime indoors, you can add glitter, stickers and beads to show off your unique taste.
2. Use the hole punch to create five evenly spaced holes in one coffee can lid.
3. Cut five pieces of fishing line. They can be as long or as short as you want, depending on how low you want the CDs to hang. Cut each piece at a slightly different length so all the CDs don't hang the same way.
4. For each CD, slip one end of the fishing line through the hole and the other through a hole on the coffee can lid. Bring the two ends together and tie them. Repeat for each CD. Place the lid on the bottom of the can. (If you want it to be more durable, add glue to the rim of the can before attaching it.)
5. Punch two holes straight across from each other near the edge of the second lid. Slip another piece of fishing line through it (for hanging), and voila! Your very own upcycled windchime.
