My BF dumped me for my BFF!


My boyfriend, who used to be my BGF before we started dating, broke up with me and asked my best friend out. The thing is, she said yes!! Should I still be their friend after they did that to me?

This is a messy situation you have on your hands, chica. Before you go and dump two people out of your life for good I think you should have a private talk with your best friend. Ask her why she would date your ex right after he broke up with you. There is a chance that she might have thought it would not hurt your feelings. You need to express to her that your feelings are indeed hurt. If she is sorry and expresses her concerns for what she has done then I think it is OK to keep her as a best friend.

 

As far as your ex goes, it is probably best to cut him out of the picture at least for a little while. You need time to get over him. Also he should have known that dating your best friend would crush you. That was really rude of him to ask her out right after breaking up with you, whether he has real feelings for her or not.
