Hey babe! The first thing you've gotta do in this sitch is figure out who was right and who was wrong. Did your girls take your BF's joke the wrong way, or did he say something that was actually offensive? If his joke could have been nicer, have him apologize to your friend and make sure he doesn't repeat his mistake. Your pals should be able to forgive him if he is genuinely sorry. 

If your BF's joke was totally lighthearted, though, and your friend overreacted, you have to show them the side of your BF that you see– a boy with a good sense of humor who just wanted to impress your friends. Explain to them that he was just joking around and that he deserves another chance to win them over. Next time he sits with you at lunch, have him charm your girls with some slightly different jokes. Talk to your BF before lunch to find things he has in common with your group and make sure he brings them up in conversation.

The best way for your friends to stop making fun of your boyfriend is to change their minds about him. If this doesn't work, then you can tell your friends that it hurts your feelings when they tease your BF. If they are your true friends, they won't want to make you feel bad. Good luck!
