We had some free time at the end of one of our classes, so the people sitting around me were talking about…dentist appointments. My friend Will was really worried that his mom wouldn’t come and get him for his, and everybody was giving him a super hard time about it.
One girl asked, "Do you really think your mother would forget you?" I chipped in and said, “Hey you guys, cool it! My mom forgot to come get me once." Then this total jerk guy goes, "Maybe that's because nobody loves you."
Everybody laughed, but my crush said, "Hey, I know that's not true. Plenty of people love Lucy." Aww!
