Little Women

@getbooksoon

It's a classic for a reason. This coming-of-age story gives allll the sisterhood vibes while painting a gorgeous picture of what it's like to grow up. As you follow along four different but equally lovable sisters named Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth, each chapter leaves you with a heartwarming message from protagonists you're sure to relate to.

Harry Potter

@kr.colle

Gryffindor or Slytherin? We'd be lying if we said haven't daydreamed of the sorting hat giving us our own houses. Harry Potter opens a portal from the comfort of our bedroom to a whimsical world of fantasy, magic and friendship. When main character Harry finds out on his eleventh birthdy that his two parents are wizards, he is called to be a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Regardless of which one of the HP books you pick up (we recommend the Goblet of Fire), you're sure to be glued to your seat. Stock up on some pillows and make a warm bev, because you're gonna be reading for a while.

The Angel Tree

If you heart the kindness that the holiday szn brings out in people, this one's for you. While this one's a fairly easy and quick read, we *had* to include it because of its incredible message of hope. This heartwarming Christmas mystery is about a tree that magically appears at the center of a small town each winter. Residents of the town place wishes on branches...and the best part? They all come true! This story follows four middle schoolers who team up to solve the mystery of the Angel Tree—and everything they learn about themselves and each other along the way. Trust us, you'll want to have the tissues handy.

Let It Snow

@myreallifeisinmybooks

Tbh, it's near impossible for something by *three* incredible authors (John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle) to be anything but amaze. This read—which is also a movie on Netflix—is practically the definition of cozy. This book interconnects swoon-worthy love stories all taking place during a Christmas Eve snowstorm in a movie-esque small town.

The Midnight Library

@shannreads

Brb, we're already wrapped up under our fluffiest blankets with this book in hand. Having regrets is totally normal. But what if you had the chance to see how your life would be if you had made different choices? In a world where a library appears between life and death, infinite shelves are filled with books giving you a chance to live a different life. Main character Nora Seed finds herself in this library and faces a tough decision. Does she change her life for a new one or accept the one she has lived? This book sheds a bittersweet light on life's little moments and finding love for our past, present and future selves.

Content Warning: This book discusses topics of depression and suicidal thoughts.

Dash and Lily's Book of Dares

@thereaderbee

You might've seen this adorable love story on Netflix, but whether you've watched it or not, the book is *so* worth the read. If you aren't already familiar with the story, you can expect tons of excitement (and swooning). This read follows optimistic Lily and Grinch-like Dash and the whirlwind romance they fall into when they're connected by books—and communicating through a notebook and bookstore scavenger hunt. This book will certainly become your newest winter obsession.
