We Can Work It Out might restore your faith in boys
Penny Lane, the founder of The Lonely Hearts Club, has a boyfriend. The problem? The goal of The Lonely Hearts Club is to show girls that they shouldn’t define themselves by the way boys treat them and that having a boyfriend isn’t important.
Naturally, everyone was shocked when she was spotted holding hands with THE Ryan Bauer. Now Penny has to somehow balance having a boyfriend with spending time with The Club and it’s 20+ members without being one of those girls who ditches her friends for a dude.
Penny used to believe that boys were the bane of her existence—but Ryan is proving her wrong in every way possible. She’s now stuck with slowly falling for Ryan while trying to still lead the pro-independence club.
Will Penny be able to balance doing what she wants while complying with what others want from her? The only way to find out is to pick up a copy of We Can Work It Out by Elizabeth Eulberg when it hits shelves Jan. 27.
