Choose your own (boy) adventure in Summer Love

Have you ever started reading a book and wished the main character chose a different path? In Jill Santopolo’s newest novel Summer Love, that’s exactly what you can do.

Imagine you just turned 16 and got everything you wanted for your birthday. Everything, that is, except for the perfect birthday kiss. So this summer, you and your older cousin Tasha decide to travel to the beach for some fun—and some summer flirting. Tasha challenges you to flirt with some cuties that you encounter through your vacay. Who do you pick? Well the great thing about this book is that you, as the reader, get to choose.

I could have flirted with Dex, Tasha’s best friend’s brother, but I just wasn’t feeling it. I was much more interested in catching some rays at the beach. And it was there that I ran into the model-status lifeguard, J.R. (Spoiler alert!) Our romance heated up quickly, especially after I helped him save a man from drowning!

The great thing about this read is that, if I decided that I wasn’t into J.R., it wouldn’t have been a big deal. With 13 possible endings, your summer romance pickings seem endless. And if you’re not feeling the whole flirting thing? Choosing to rock your confidence without a guy by your side is another possibility.

Basically, you can read Summer Love 13 times and get a different ending after each one. How crazy is that? This book will last you endless days on the beach, by the pool, or reading on the couch. Yes, it’s pretty much the perfect book to add to you reading list this summer.

Make sure you pick up Summer Love (in stores now!) then come back and share which guy you chose.
