Ahhh summer...your skin is glowing, your beach waves are thriving and your style is shining. It's basically the best time of year. Why not find a movie to match your summer vibes? We have five films just waiting for a rewatch, right here:

1. Aquamarine (2006)

Two best friends, Claire and Hailey, befriend a mermaid named Aquamarine during the last summer before one of them moves away. Together, they work to help the mermaid find love in exchange for a wish. It's the perfect summer movie about friendship and love.

2. Soul Surfer (2011)

This movie tells the true story of Bethany Hamilton, a professional surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack as a teenager. Throughout the film, Bethany learns how to compete again, with the help of her family and community. Not only is the movie super inspiring, but it might just have you looking up surf lessons near you.

3. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005)

This is *the* pick to watch with your besties. It's all about four best friends who stay connected even as life takes them in different directions one summer. Whether you're off to soccer camp like Bridget or visiting Greece like Lena, there's something everyone can relate to. Bonus points if you follow it up with its equally summery sequel and make it a double feature.

4. Teen Beach Movie (2013)

Teen Beach Movie is the ultimate summer DCOM. Starring Maia Mitchell and Ross Lynch, it has everything you need to get in a summery mood: surfing, dancing and super catchy soundtrack. After a huge wave magically sends the main characters into their favorite 1960s musical, they have to find a way to get home. With all of the absolute bops featured in this flick, your movie night may quickly turn into a karaoke sesh...

5. The Last Song (2010)

This is a bittersweet, coming-of-age movie that follows a rebellious young pianist as she spends summer with her dad in his small beach town after deciding not to attend Julliard in the fall. While there, she finds love and learns a lot about herself as well. Not to mention, it stars Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. Enough said.
