Calling all Wildcats! We repeat, calling all Wildcats: The time has come for you to get your head back in the game and get excited for an all-new High School Musical.

Last night, Disney Channel announced that they are currently on a nationwide casting search for all new East High Wildcats and West High Knights—which is perfect timing considering the 10-year anniversary of the original High School Musical was just over a month ago.

The fourth title in the series, HSM4, is less a continuation of Troy and Gabriella's story and more a tale of the fierce rival between the Wildcats and the Knights. And though we'll miss the original stars, this sounds pretty awesome. Let’s face it, who doesn’t like a little high school drama?

Plus, we're still pretty hopefully that Sharpay and some of the others might make cameos in the show just like how original Boy Meets World characters can be spotted in the new Girl Meets World. Who says Ryan Evans can't be the new theater director? Wouldn't Taylor McKessie be an incredible high school science teacher?

"High School Musical is part of Disney Channel’s DNA. It embodies all that we stand for," said Disney Channels Worldwide president and chief creative officer, Gary Marsh. "As a way of continuing to embrace that heritage, we're excited to announce 'the start of something new' -- as we launch a search for a new class of East High Wildcats to star in a fourth installment of the High School Musical franchise."

Though there may not be any familiar faces in the cast, expect to recognize some names amongst the crew. Peter Barsocchini, the writer of the original three flicks, is returning to the project with a new partner, Dan Berendsen. Jeffrey Hornaday will be directing and choreographing—you've seen his work already in the Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2 flicks.

No matter who they pick to star, we know we'll be tuning in. After all, once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat.
