Finally! A rock band just for the girls

An all-girl band has finally arrived on the scene. And it’s proving it can rock just as hard as the boys. Cherri Bomb is all-around impressive: The girls aren’t only amazing performers, they each have an amazing sense of style and are all between the ages of 12 and 14!

The band has already taken the stage with rock legends like the Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters, and played at some of the biggest European music festivals this summer.

American girls will finally get to join in on the fun when the band’s EP, Stark, is released in October 18.

“Already Dead” and “Let it Go” are messages to a dude who did wrong, and you’ll totally relate to their lyrics, “I tried once again but you lied all over again so I can’t forget what you did.”

“Spin” should totally be added to your playlist of confidence-boosting jams. The GL staff loves the line, “If you want me then you’re gonna have to chase me.”

And the band does “The Pretender” complete justice on their cover of the Foo Fighters song.

Be sure to check out Cherri Bomb’s EP (they’re set to release their full-length debut album in 2012!) then come back and spill about your fave tracks.
