Must List
6 songs we'd love to see on Glee
While we all wait for such questions to be answered, we thought, why not come up with a list of crazy ideas for songs our favorite Gleeks to sing. Hey, fiction can be just as fun as fact!
"The Way You Make Me Feel" (Michael Jackson)
For: Brittany and Santana
Whatever your thoughts are on the late king of pop, you can't dispute his great music! And when these two gals get together, some serious musical magic happens. While we liked their rendition of “Landslide” with Gwen Paltrow, we think these two are best when it’s just them "against the music."
"The Point of No Return" (The Phantom of the Opera)
For: Rachel and Finn
We'd love to see how Glee would trim down this long song! Remember when Rachel wished for a Phantom of the Opera glee club lesson? We're totally on board.
"I Put a Spell on You" (Screamin’ Jay Hawkins)
For: Sue and Will
We’re thinking Sue could sing as she plotted some sort of anti-Glee scheme or at a costume dance like in the classic Halloween flick "Hocus Pocus!" And Mr. Schue could be teaching the Glee club a Halloween-themed lesson. Sort of a parallel type thing!
"I Want You to Want Me" (Cheap Trick)
For: Puck and Artie
We’d love to see them perform this song for Lauren (and whoever Artie is crushing on this coming season) a la Heath Ledger in 10 Things I Hate About You. We’re seeing the number complete with police officers chasing him down and an accompaniment from a marching band.
"Price Tag" (Jessie J ft. B.o.B.)
For: Mercedes
This song is made for Ms. Jones! It has her sass and she would rock it. Maybe she could even try her hand at the rapping, too.
"Ain't No Mountain High Enough" (Marvin Gaye)
For: Kurt and Blaine
They are too cute and we love how they sound together. We imagine this duet with some rock edge and Blaine on the piano.
