Must List

Our favorite singing siblings

Could you imagine forming a band with your sibs? Personally, when I think about it (before I question what instruments my bro and I could actually play), I wonder how in the world we would make it work. Our music tastes would definitely clash, as would our tempers! You think you could professionally rock with your bros and sisters? Check out songs from these jammin’ sibs who have made it work.

“Belt of Orion” – The Belle Brigade
I love how this brother/sister team’s vocals blend together. I am currently obsessed with them and have listened to their album way more than I probably should admit!

“Alone” – Heart
Remember when this was covered on Glee? Other great songs by this sister duo include “Barracuda” and “Magic Man”.

“Back in Your Head” – Tegan and Sara
These Canadian twins are seriously talented. I’m so glad I was introduced to them years ago by a friend.

“Moose” – Heathers
Check out the crazy movie (The Heathers) that inspired the band's name.

“Free to Stay” – Smoosh
This band released their first album when the sisters were really young. Who says you can’t live your dreams?

“Seven Nation Army” – The White Stripes

While they aren’t actually siblings, but as a divorced couple (Jack took Meg White’s last name), they’ve been confusing people for years about how they are/aren’t related! Oh, and they make great, inventive music.

Who’s your favorite singing sibling bunch? Blog about it, babes.
