MTV Cribs gets a makeover

MTV Cribs first aired back in 2000. The show gave viewers and exclusive look into the fabulous lives of our fave celebs, giving us tours of their luxurious homes.

Then, in 2009, Teen Cribs aired, which toured the houses of normal American teenagers around the country. From basement bowling alleys to swimming pools with waterslides and waterfalls, these houses blew our minds! But now, MTV is coming out with yet another show that takes the term “out-of-this-world” to a whole new level.

The first episode of Extreme Cribs premieres this Monday, Aug. 1, at 4:30 PM ET/PT. This new 16-episode series definitely lives up to its name, giving viewers tours of some of the most unusual pads in the country.

The homes will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. And the houses included in this new series will range from a replica of the mansion from the popular sitcom, The Munsters, to a real-life “tree house!” These crazy casas will have your jaw dropped all the way to the floor with their unique designs, and will give you a chance to see the good—and bad—things that come with living an unusual lifestyle.

Don’t forget to tune into MTV at 4:30 PM for the premiere of Extreme Cribs!
What’s the craziest house you’ve seen on MTV’s Cribs? Blog about it, babes.
