Our fave fashion moments from this year's Met Gala
If you've had the first Monday in May circled on your calendar all year, you're not alone. The Met Gala is fashion's biggest night, and this year's looks did *not* disappoint.
The theme of this year's Met Gala is "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty" in honor of German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019. If the name isn't ringing a bell, he's arguably most famous for being the Creative Director of Chanel for nearly forty years (1983-2019). Invitees to this year's event were simply instructed to dress "in honor of Karl."

Dua Lipa
Looking *extra* glam and straight out of a fairytale, Dua decided to wear a vintage Chanel ballgown that looked super chic with her loose curls and simple makeup. Ofc, our eyes went straight to her 100-carat Tiffany & Co.'s Legendary Diamond necklace.

Jenna Ortega
Jenna's channeled her inner Wednesday with this edgy (yet preppy) look. Her asymmetrical Victorian-inspired dress designed by Thom Browne incorporated Karl's signature details: tweed, pearls and bows. Our fave part is the Oxford-heels-and-sheer-tights combo.

Phoebe Bridgers
Phoebe looked *stunning* in a low-back Tory Burch gown. She pulled the look together with lavender hair, shimmery eyes and a coral lip. (Plus, the whole look is super on-brand with her love for skeletons.)

Halle Bailey
This ruffled Gucci dress (with so. much. sleeve. action.) gave us *major* mermaid vibes (we're counting down the days until May 26th!). From her makeup to her hair, Halle's entire look was angelic, luxe and feminine.

Billie Eilish
Billie shocked us with this one-of-a-kind Simone Rocha sheer and lace black dress. The high neckline complimented her long ribbon-wrapped braid. While on the carpet, she revealed that she had wanted a look with lots of different textures and layers—which she definitely hit right on the mark. We also can't get over her interview *and* friendship with it-girl Emma Chamberlain.

Maya Hawke
The standout part of this bridal-inspired look was the dramatic long white coat. Maya dazzled in a floral-embellished Prada mini dress and matching coat. Our fave part? Her perfectly touseled waves and bangs.

Emma Chamberlain
The red carpet host did it again. Emma chose to rock a matching set from Miu Miu that featured a cropped blazer and high-leg slit. Her look was extra classic with a blue headband and diamond accessories. Time to go rewatch her reunion interview with Jack Harlow (our fave duo).
