Mckenna Grace just released her debut EP Bittersweet 16—and we're absolutely obsessed

If you haven't listened to Mckenna Grace's new album Bittersweet 16, you are *seriously* missing out.

The 16-year-old actress/singer/songwriter released her first-ever EP today. It includes a handful of her previous smash hits plus five brand new songs (brb, adding to our Spotify queues ASAP).

Mckenna also debuted her music video for her new song "Buzzkill Baby", and we'll give you two words to describe it: Major. Slay.

The 8-track EP boasts Mckenna's already released hits "Ugly Crier," "Checkered Vans" and "Post Party Trauma" in addition to her five new songs: "Buzzkill Baby," "City Leaver," "What If?," "Collapsing Stars" and, ofc, "Bittersweet 16."

Mckenna hopes that young listeners can relate to her music and jam out, while also knowing that the bad times will pass and there are better things to come. "I hope anyone who listens to my music and can relate to the darker feelings will know that eventually it passes and it's normal and okay to feel things—happy, sad, angry, lonely, frustrated...just don't give up," she said in her press release about the album.

Bittersweet 16 has us in our feels about being a teen and growing up, as Mckenna perfectly captures that feeling of ~teenage angst~.

And her fans agree about her undeniable talent: Mckenna already has over 45 million streams of her music and recently performed a sold-out show in L.A.! What can't this girl do?

Mckenna is also an accomplished actress who has starred in a variety of roles from Ghostbusters: Afterlife to The Handmaid's Tale. Um, did we mention that she was also a GL cover star in 2021?

Now hurry up and go stream Bittersweet 16!

If you haven't already tuned in, you can listen to Mckenna's new album on major streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. Don't forget to follow Mckenna on Instagram @mckennagraceful to keep up with her new releases and so much more!
