EXCLUSIVE! We're *so* here for Lexi Janicek as Lisa on The Really Loud House

Calling all fans of The Loud House! The hilarious Nick show is *finally* becoming a live action series, and we can't get enough of Lexi Janicek who stars as Lisa Loud, the super smart (and second youngest) Loud sister. From playing Lisa in A Loud House Christmas to her silliest on-set moments, Lexi is here to give us the inside scoop on life as a Loud sister.

Girls' Life: Tell us about your experience playing Lisa Loud in A Loud House Christmas
Lexi: I had such a great time playing Lisa then, and I'm having an even better time now filming the series. Eight of the series' regular actors are between 11 and 15, so we got along really well. We have a lot of laughs on set, especially with Brian Stepanek, who plays our dad. He's hilarious.

GL: What's your favorite part about being on set?
Lexi: Getting to be with the rest of the cast and crew. Since the show is a kids' comedy, the set is just such a fun environment. And I love watching a scene come together. There are so many things that go into each and every setup. The whole process of making a TV show is really interesting.

GL: What first sparked your love of acting?
Lexi: I think I was born with a love of acting. Like a lot of little kids, I always enjoyed pretend play. For a long time, when my mom and I were running errands, I would come up with a random story so we could play those characters while we were out. My mom recognized that I loved acting, so I'm lucky she encouraged that interest.

GL: You've been involved in some pretty amazing projects over the past few years. Is there a certain memory or experience that really stands out to you?
Lexi: The best moment ever was when I booked my first big role as Lisa Loud. My agent called and said, "Hi, can I speak with Lisa please?" I had no idea what to say. I thought she had just gotten my name wrong! Then she said, "I'd like to speak to Lisa Loud." My mouth *dropped* when I realized that I had booked the role. It was such a cool moment.

GL: That's so amazing. What's your dream role?
Lexi: I would love to be in a superhero or adventure movie. I have three big brothers, so I've watched a lot of action films over the years. I would love to do some of my own stunts—that would be a really cool way of combining my love of acting and sports.

GL: Love it. And what do you like to do when you aren't acting?
Lexi: Spend time with my friends, compete with my gymnastics team back home. I also love running, swimming, skiing and playing tennis. I'll do arts and crafts or bake with my mom. And, like most kids, I like to watch TV and spend time with my fam.

GL: What advice would you give GL readers who want to pursue their dreams?
Lexi: Enjoy the process and celebrate small wins. Pursuing a dream takes time and effort, so make sure you're enjoying the journey. Celebrating those small victories along the way keeps you motivated to keep going.
