Last night, midnights became our afternoons and Midnights became our fave album. T. Swift has us in a chokehold once again with her newest album, which features 13 synthy pop tracks that are giving major 2016 Tumblr vibes. All of the songs are total bops, ofc, but we def have a few faves. Keep reading for our nondefinitive ranking of all of the tunes on Midnights. 

13. Snow on the Beach (feat. Lana Del Rey)

Sorry, Tay, but "Snow on the Beach" is last on our list. Swifties were hyped for Lana Del Rey's feature, only for her contribution to just be backing vocals. The production is perfection, obvi, but we were hoping for a full Lana verse.

12. Karma

Taylor has been hinting at "Karma" for what feels like forever (see "The Man" music video) and she def delivered. And in classic Taylor style, "Karma" features one or two cat references.

11. Sweet Nothing

"Sweet Nothing" is just what it says it is—sweet. A cute, almost lullaby-like song, "Sweet Nothing" is a love song through and through. The simple instrumentals give Tay's flawless vocals a moment to shine.

10. Midnight Rain

Taylor wants more in "Midnight Rain." We know she loves screaming and fighting and kissing in the (midnight?) rain, and that's exactly what she's yearning for in this track. 

9. Lavender Haze

The opening song of the album, "Lavender Haze" is all about finding comfort and safety in the person you love. This tune gives major "Lover" energy and we are *obsessed.* Taylor and Joe Alwyn are total couple goals, and "Lavender Haze" is a reminder of just how perfect they are together.

8. Bejeweled

"Bejeweled" is giving all the Barbie-and-the-Diamond-Castle-glitter-princess energy we didn't know we needed in our lives. Taylor Swift is the diamond of the season in this song and she is sparkling more than ever.

7. Maroon

"Maroon" is def "Red"'s big sis. The second song of the album, "Maroon" features a slow beat and a million synonyms for red. If Taylor loves anything, it's a thesaurus. 

6. You're on Your Own, Kid

If nostalgia is your aim, "You're on Your Own, Kid" is your game. This track is giving "Never Grow Up" vibes, and def has us crying in the club. But Taylor reminds us that every mistake is another step in the right direction. Thanks for the motivation, T.

5. Anti-Hero

Two Taylors is always better than one, and that's just what "Anti-Hero" proves. "I'll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror." Okay, Taylor, just call us out why don't you? 

4. Labyrinth

Don't worry, babes, it always gets better, and that's just what Blondie sings about in "Labyrinth." The melancholy chorus of this song is putting us in our feels and reminding us that life might hurt right now, but it's def going to turn around soon. 

3. Question...?

"Question...?" is no doubt in the top three. Could there be a dreamier song? We can literally *feel* the yearning (also currently on the lookout for a crowded room).

2. Vigilante Sh*t

If you liked "no body, no crime," "Vigilante Sh*t" is the song for you. This track is *the* revenge song of the century. Catch us dressing for revenge for the rest of our lives.

1. Mastermind

"Mastermind" has secured a spot in our hearts and at the top of our list. The final track on the album is one of Taylor's best ever, and it's def about the 2016 Met Gala. Has Taylor ever written a bad song about that night? Never!
