Here's some life advice for you this weekend: If someone asks you super last minute if you want to see Shawn Mendes (or any artist, really), you always say yes. That's exactly what #TeamGL did this week when we decided, "Hey, let's go to the Illuminate World Tour on Saturday." Fast forward to yesterday evening and there we were, fangirling our hearts out as the the 19-year-old gorg singer-songwriter put on a nearly two-hour show. The only way we can convey the amazingness of it all? Via GIFs, obv.

When Shawn dashed on stage and slayed us all with his 100-watt smile

Are we dying? Are we dead? Either way, we knew we had to strap ourselves in for an amaze evening.

When he busted out a four-song medley and we were speechless

What did we do to deserve this?! TBH we aren't worthy.

When he strapped back on his acoustic and butsted out "No Promises"

We jammed *real* hard.

When he left the stage and we thought the concert was over

But then he reappeared on the B-stage...and covered Ed Sheeran (!!!)

We are Taylor. Taylor is us.

When he serenaded us on the piano with "Life of the Party"

We literally have never seen a more accurate representation of our feelings.

When everyone in the crowd whipped out their phone flashlights for "Never Be Alone"

Feeling #blessed.

Then when he put his life/heart/soul/everything into closing the show with "Mercy" and we lost our voices from singing so loudly

Help, plz.

When he left the stage for good and the concert was actually over

Come back! 😔

Bingeing every single Shawn song ever on our way home to stave on the concert depression

Thinking, "See u soon, Shawn!"
