The old Miley Cyrus—or should we say the better and reinvented Miley?—is back, and we are *so* excited about it!

Less than a week ago, Miley released a brand new song, "Malibu," and it has made us fall in love with her all over again. In the video for the track, she's rocking little to no makeup and dressed in neutral colors, giving us a glimpse at a carefree, Hannah Montana-era Miley as she soaks up the nature that surrounds her.

According to Elle, "Malibu" was written in the back of an Uber while Miley was on her way to The Voice. A tribute to her fiance, Liam Hemsworth, the song addresses the rekindled romance between the two sweethearts. “I’m evolving, and I surround myself with smart people that are evolved.” Miley admits that it was time for her to make changes in her life, and it definitely seems to be for the better.
