Sabrina Carpenter just made two *huge* announcements
Labor Day weekend is meant to be a relaxing time for family BBQs, cannonball competitions and enjoying the last bits of summer sun. So while we were chilling outside and scrolling through Instagram, we were totally *not* expecting to stumble upon this OMG-inducing news: Sabrina Carpenter is releasing her second album next month! She announced the news—and the album name, EVOLution—herself with a simple and understated photo (above) of what looks like the album cover and captioned it with this...
My second album, #EVOLution, comes out October 14th. I can’t wait to share this new era with you.
She seemed so calm about the whole announcement. Meanwhile, this was us:
We totally should've seen it coming, though. She posted nine photos prior to her announcement, each one with a single letter spelling out the album name. If you ask us, it was totally clever and super sneaky.
But wait—the goodness doesn't stop there. The next day, Sabrina took to Insta again to make another huge announcement: a tour! According to Sab's Instagram posts, tickets for her EVOLution Tour go on sale this Friday. Check out the gorg tour poster (and that highlight on her cheekbones—wow) below...
My very first tour. Can't wait to see you there. #EVOLutiontour Follow @evolutiontour for updates and bts.
The tour kicks off Oct. 18 and will hit 36 cities across the U.S. and Canada. For a full list of dates and cities, check out SabrinaCarpenter.com or @evolutiontour on Instagram.
Are you excited for new music from Sabrina Carpenter? Will you be checking out EVOLution and its tour?
