Laura Marano's getting a new show

 
You know and love Laura Marano as Ally Dawson on the Disney Channel hit TV series, Austin & Ally, but she’s now taking her star status to a whole new level—by hosting her first radio show!

Laura will be getting her own weekly radio show on Radio Disney starting on Tuesday, January 12th at 2:00 p.m. PT/ 5:00 p.m. ET—aka just two days after the Austin & Ally finale. Though we're sad to see A&A go, we're glad this will give us a great new way to hear more from Laura.

The show, titled “For The Record With Laura Marano,” will discuss her experience working on her first solo album and her journey getting there. The album is being produced by Big Machine Records, and is hopefully coming soon.

To help ease the blow of losing one of your fave Disney Channel shows, the first episode will also include some very special guest stars: Laura's costars Ross Lynch (Austin), Raini Rodriguez (Trish) and Calum Worthy (Dez).

"Disney has been my home for so many years, and I am humbled and excited to share my new adventure with my fans," said Laura. "I can't wait for Radio Disney's listeners to come with me on my journey."
