Louis Tomlinson and his long-time girlfriend Eleanor are officially over

Things have been rocky lately for One Direction. After Zayn Malik's relationship troubles last week and his absence on the tour due to stress, it looks like another one of the boys is going through just as hard a time. News broke over the weekend that, after a four year long relationship, Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder have officially called it quits. 

Though we're bummed to hear it, we can't help but admit it makes sense. After all, 1D are constantly busy making music or touring, so it's gotta be hard to find time to talk on the phone and keep up, especially when your schedules are totally different. According to the reports, the couple broke up a couple weeks ago despite trying to make the long-distance thing work.

Hopefully Louis is managing to keep busy enough with 1D's tour and focus on his music instead, but we can't help but hope for a future where these two find their way back to each other once things settle down.
