Taylor laughs off recent rumors with a hilarious Instagram

 
Lately the wildest rumors have been circulating about Taylor Swift. It's not the usual romance stuff, either. Instead, what the media's been whispering about is whether or not Tay actually insured her legs for – get this – $40 million. One more time: Forty. Million. Dollars. 

According to the reports, after realizing her career is worth a cool $200 million, Tay wanted to make sure that she'd be financially supported even if something happened to her that would stop her strutting her stuff on stage. While it makes sense that Tay would to have a back-up plan, we knew as soon as we heard that these rumors were totally ridiculous. Tay was in on the joke, though, and shared this funny Instagram to prove it.

 

"GREAT WORK MEREDITH," Tay captioned the pic. "I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOVE YOU AND NOW YOU OWE ME 40 MILLION DOLLARS." 

Tay also posted a follow-up Insta, writing, "Couldn't help but make it into a pun, could I..."
