Demi Lovato celebrates three years of sobriety

We've always loved Demi Lovato ever since she first broke onto the scene in Disney's Camp Rock. She's just so talented, funny and fearless – and incredibly strong. After realizing she had a problem with addiction, Demi faced it head on and came out the other side better than ever. Now, three years later, Demi's still going steady, celebrating every milestone along the way, and we couldn't be more proud.

Yesterday officially marked Demi's third year of sobriety, and to share in her pride – and her accomplishments – she took to Twitter to thank all of her supporters.

In addition to celebrating with fans on Twitter, it seems like Demi also had a special day with her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama who wrote a special note on Instagram.

"Today, we lay another stone together," Wilmer wrote. "It is now 3 years since you said: I am more important then any past, demon, disorder or addiction.. Where you decided that YOUR life was worth living while loving yourself.. And I'm sure glad you did... I knew then the woman you've become now.. I am proud and honor to be front row to see the world you are about to change. I love you Demi."

Demi responded with a super sweet note of her own, captioning a pic of the two together: "I wish I could put into words how grateful I am for this man right here. But my love has grown to a level that words could never possibly express how much this man completes me. He's loved me the way I never thought I deserved to be loved and with this day marking my 3rd year sober... After sharing my ups, putting up with my downs and supporting my recovery... he still never takes credit and I want the world to know how incredible his soul is. I really wouldn't be alive today without him. I love you Wilmer ❤️"

We're so glad that Demi has reached such an awesome milestone and we can't wait to celebrate even more years with her going forward. Congrats on three years, Demi!

Are you proud that Demi's made it so far? Are you a Lovatic? Share your thoughts in the comments.
