1. Straight jeans

Equal parts comfy and classy, straight jeans are the go-to pant for an everyday look. They're able to be dressed up or down—perfect for a busy day. Straight jeans are essentially the Parisian black legging. Once you buy a pair, you'll want some in every color.

Leave your fave hoodie at home and opt for a cardigan instead. You can never go wrong with a sweater. From chunky pullovers in the winter to lighter summer sweaters, knitwear tends to be the jacket of choice for French girls.

8. Little black dress
