Find the PERFECT Face Wash and Moisturizer for your Skin

Searching for great products to revamp your skin care routine? Let's be honest. It's a jungle out there! How can you be sure the face wash and moisturizer you're using is the BEST stuff for your skin? We've got the 411 on scoring the perf products

If your skin is...OILY

If you're a super shiny sistah, there are some specific things you need to look for when you go skincare shopping. Number one is finding a cleanser and moisturizer that are oil-free. Deep cleansing is also important to really get down into those pores and xinay all that excess oil.

The best moisturizers for you are often a little pricey, but def worth the extra dollars in the long run. Regular moisturizers will leave you feeling even more greasy, so think of it as an investment!
If your skin is...DRY AND SENSITIVE

Dry and sensitive skin usually go together. To prevent irritating those easily-chapped cheeks, don't use products that are loaded with fragrances or chemicals.

It's also ultra important to look for a facial cleanser that not only cleans, but moisturizes. The extra hydration will do your parched skin wonders. Look for ingredients like shea butter or aloe.

If your skin is...ACNE PRONE

Hear yourself saying "Uh, oh...acne!" every time you look in the mirror? Pimple-prone girlies have to be especially picky when choosing skincare products. The secret ingredient that you need most? Salicylic acid. And, don't forget...deep cleansing products also zap zits.

Remember – don't go for a product that will over-dry, irritate your skin or clog your pores. Your best bet is to shop around for stuff that's oil-free and water-based.

If your skin is...NORMAL or COMBINATION

Is your skin dry in some places and oily in others? You've got combination skin, chica. Or are you somewhere between greasy 'n' dry? If so, you've got normal skin. Combination and normal skinned sistahs have the same care routine.

Look for a face wash that won't be too harsh on your skin, but will effectively get rid of excess oil. You want something oil-free (so it won't make you greasy) and moisturizing (so you won't get all dried out). For a moisturizer, look for products with vitamins and nutrient. A li'l SPF is always as great bonus!
