The eyes have it
If you’re totally overwhelmed by options, starter kits are your best bet: the must-haves are all included. You’ll need a base shadow brush for all-over color, an accent brush to target specific areas (like the outer corner for a smokey eye or under your brows for highlighting), a crease brush for contouring, and eyeliner and brow brushes for the obvious reasons: lining your eyes and filling in those arches.

Flawless foundation
The newest craze in foundation is the stippling brush. These awesome brushes give ya an airbrushed finish and blend your product perfectly. For a blemish-free face, dot foundation all over your skin, then pat your foundation in with the tip of the bristles until the product is seamlessly blended.

Blush brush
Applying powder blush with the same brush you use for everything is a huge no-no. Mixing different products on one brush can discolor your makeup, so your blush won’t look as fresh as it would with a clean brush. Use this affordable dome brush with your go-to powder blush for a natural flush. All you need is a small sweep from cheekbones to temples and you’re done. Easy, right?

Powder girls
Apply all-over face powder using a big, fluffy brush to ensure you get even coverage instead of having your powder caked on in one spot. Just dip the brush into your powder and tap off any excess before dusting it all over your face. You can also use a clean powder brush to blend out the edges of bronzer or blush for a flawless finish.
