We tried it: Liquid shimmer shadow
Missing
your fab Halloween makeup? Add a little bit of sparkle and shine to
your everyday routine with neutral-hued glitter eye shadow. We were
skeptical at first, (hey, it’s hard to rock glitter right!) but the
Jemma Kidd Glitterati Shadow Dust Duo in Premiere is wayyy easy to
apply. Do a swift swipe for a daytime-ready sweep, or go va-va-voom for
night in with a heavier application.
This double-ended bottle has a liquid shadow that smoothes on cleanly
for the first layer, and a roller ball of glitter dust for a shiny
topcoat. We found that after rolling on the perfect amount of shimmer,
gently spreading it out with the tip of your finger or a small brush
will even-out the sparkle along the crease of your lid. Premiere, a
pretty greige, is the perfect neutral tone to give your usual beauty
routine a little somethin’ somethin’.
The best thing about the liquid shadow is that it hydrates your lids
while you wear it! (Who knew shadow could be such a good multitasker?)
No more caked on shadow. At the end of the night, your lids will be
sparkly and moisturized. Score!
