Keep your bangs in check this summer
Bangs are crazy cute—until the
weather heats up and they’re just plain crazy. Here’s how to work
with your hair to ensure it looks adorable all summer long.
Problem #1: Your bangs are leading to
breakouts
Turns out, your hair gunk can sooo
cause your skin to freak out. Not cool. For those of you with longer,
side-swept bangs, it’s time to break out your fave headbands, an
arsenal of bobby pins and stylish clips to keep those bangs out of
your face. Summer is also a great time to experiment with new styles
like pulling your bangs back in a side braid or twisting or pulling
your bangs back into a small poof.
If you have shorter bangs, make sure to
keep your forehead as grease free as possible by washing your face in
the morning and evening. Try using oil-blotting sheets for a mid-day
pick-me-up.
Problem #2: Your once-sleek bangs are
now a frizzy mess
It’s all about the conditioner, girl.
Make sure your hair is hydrated so that it doesn’t puff up. Blow
your hair dry with an anti-frizz leave-in conditioner before
straightening your bangs.

Problem #3: Your bangs get greasy
Finally, it might seem tough, but
resist the urge to touch your bangs to pull them up out of your face.
Constantly playing with your mane will just make the oil add up. Keep
some dry shampoo handy to touch-up your strands and eliminate
afternoon greasies.
