Skin-perfecting secrets from a makeup artist
PLUS we’re giving one girl the ticket to flawless skin with a Clean Scene prize pack from Murad. Read on for the deets!
Secret #1: You can
so use foundation as concealer.
You should never go overboard with the makeup. To get a look that’s natural
(but still covers up your zits), apply a tinted moisturizer. Then, Gozi says to
brush on a bit of foundation over any pimples. Buh-bye, blemishes.
Secret #2: Cover pimples with
precision.

Secret #3: Amazing foundation is
actually affordable.
Sure, Gozi’s makeup kit is stacked with fancy beauty finds but she swears you
can get gorge results from drugstore brands. Her fave so-not-pricey foundation:
Revlon Color Stay. “A little goes a long way!”

Secret #4: Don’t lighten up too
much.
“A lot of people mess up their concealer when they try to go too light,” she
tells us. If you’re trying to make dark circles under your eyes disappear, find
a concealer that matches your skin tone. “You really want to neutralize the
area. You should never go more than two shades lighter than your natural skin
tone—ever.”
Secret #5: Seal the deal with
powder.
Whenever you apply concealer, you m-u-s-t brush on some power (either
translucent or skin-tone). “Otherwise they move on the skin,” Gozi says.
Runaway makeup is never a good look.
