Porcelain Doll
Under every smile,
Is a unique cause for joy,
Under every tear,
Are millions of unsaid problems,
Under every wounded expression,
Is a world of pain,
Under every comment,
Is a new story.
Past the mindless chatter,
And the shallow front,
Is a girl,
With depth,
And imagination,
And wonder.
Concealed by her carefree attitude,
She embarks on the journey,
Of finding herself,
In this judgmental world.
She hopes to make a change,
So with her tender heart,
And determined mindset,
She becomes someone.
Despite all the pessimism,
And obstacles,
She proves herself,
Proves that,
Under her shell,
