Stupid cupid
Last year on Valentine’s Day, I was getting a few books out
of my locker when my crush came over with a card and a box of chocolates. He
knelt down beside me and said, “I really love you. Do you love me, too?” I was
shocked, but I confessed my feelings for him anyway. That’s when his friends
all came over laughing. He said, “Oh, wow,
you really fell for that!” Turns out it was all a huge joke. I read the card
later on, and it said, “Roses are red, violets are blue, you thought I really
loved you, but it’s really not true!” I was crushed.
