Not a Label - An original poem

Hey girls! Here’s a defiant original poem by GL reader Morgan C. Check it out and let us know what ya think in the comments.

Not a Label

In your boxes I don’t fit,
You want me to conform.
I think it’s hard for you to see,
That I am not the norm.

You try so hard, to define,
Who you think I am.
Though I think I’m more inclined,
To just not pretend.

I can’t be labeled, can’t be named,
I can’t be stereotyped.
No matter what, I can’t be shamed,

To act how you would like.
