Ready to Erupt
One day during my science lab, my group was making a
volcano. Two of the guys started asking what would happen if they jumped inside
it. My crush and my BFF—who was totally crushing on him, too—started whispering.
She laughed and later, I asked what he said. She told me that he said if I
jumped into the volcano, it would clog. I’m smaller and skinnier than most of
my grade, but I felt super insecure about myself after that.
