Maybe you're an incredible baker whose cartoon-themed cupcakes are always a huge hit, and you're certain you'd be successful selling them. Or maybe you've always had a knack for helping people understand tough material in math and would love to start a tutoring service. Could be that you're just really passionate about stopping puppy mills or improving the lives of homeless people in your city—and have a creative solution you need help putting into action. Or maybe you have an awesome idea for an invention that *nobody* has thought up yet.

If this sounds familiar, we want *you* to apply for GL's Girls in Biz competition. We're all about supporting girls with the next great business idea—so whether you have an active biz, a fully-formed plan for an invention or even just a talent you want to expand into a for-profit, you could be the next big #GirlBoss...and we're going to help one lucky girl get there.

The Rules

What it is: An entrepreneurship competition for girls aged 9-16. It's all about girl power—so you can have a biz partner that's a boy, but *you* have to be the one in charge. 

What you win: The girl with the best, most viable business will win $1,000 to put her plan into action (or, if your biz already exists, to take it to the next level). Plus, we'll fly you out to LA to meet some of our fave celebs and get priceless advice from #GirlBoss superstars who have already made it big. 

How to enter: CLICK HERE to fill out the entry form. We'll need your name, age, city/state and a detailed description of your biz or idea. 

When to apply: Entries will be accepted from now until Saturday, August 15 at 11:59pm EST.
