Your Bod
I scar so easily. How can I get rid of them?
The best way to prevent scarring is to avoid getting hurt. But if you’re a klutz like me, sometimes that’s way easier said than done! To help scars from cuts heal and fade more quickly, keep them covered. That means treating them with an antibiotic ointment like Neosporin and covering with a band-aid for about a week. Keeping the area well moisturized can help, too.
One more thing? For scars that are
still healing, avoid exposing them to the sun’s harmful rays, which
can cause discoloration. Ugh!
Unfortunately, unless you go in for expensive laser treatments, there is no guaranteed way to get rid of old scars. Keeping your skin moisturized and avoiding sunburns and tanning will help them become less noticeable.
