4 ways to get out and enjoy the fall weather this weekend

 
It's #FitnessFriday! These four fall-inspired workouts will get you in tip-top shape...and help to burn off all that Halloween candy.

1) Rake leaves. Say what? Raking leaves for 30 minutes can burn 120 calories, according to Harvard Health.Grab a bunch of friends and see who can make the biggest leaf pile—bonus workout if you jump in the pile and then clean it up again.

2) Football fun. Squeeze a workout in during the big game this Sunday. Every time there’s a touchdown, do a 30-second plank. Every time there’s an interception, do 10 pushups and every time there is a penalty, do six jumping jacks. If your team wins, do a combination of all three (and then celebrate with some wings!).

3) Halloween hustle. There are tons of fun runs designed particularly for Halloween, like the Zombie Run or a costumed 5k. Sign up and get to sweating!

 

5)   4) Candy Corn Marathon. You know how a candy corn has three different layers, each one getting shorter and shorter? Use that as your fitness inspo for your next workout. In one day, go for a long run, a medium bike ride and then do a short fun activity (walking the dog, dancing, jumping rope). Muscle variation is the best.
