Q. How long should I wait to eat after I exercise?
A. We chatted up Nikki Glor of nikkifitness.com to get the scoop on snacking and exercise.
“I usually recommend 45 minutes before a workout,” Nikki tells us. That’s when she eats a small snack. “This helps avoid cramping and gives you an energy boost just in time for the burn.”
Keep the snack to about 200 calories, so you’re not totally stuff. And don’t forget to hydrate before, after and during your sweat sesh!
