Sweet Potato Fries
We’ve got a vitamin-stacked alternative to fast-food fries! These tasty treats can be whipped up in no time and give burger night a healthy boost.
Ingredients:
2 sweet potatoes
A pinch of salt and pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
Optional: Spices! These are great with 2 teaspoons of garlic, oregano or cumin. Like heat? Add a dash of cayenne pepper!
Preparation:
Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees. While it's heating up, wash and cut the sweet potatoes into thin slices. (Note: Start by cutting the ends off and chopping the potatoes in half. Be careful!).
Directions:
Put the cut potatoes in a bowl and add all the other ingredients. Toss and mix the ingredients in so that they are evenly distributed. Lay the now-seasoned potatoes out on a cookie sheet and pop them in the oven. Take them out and mix them around after 15 minutes. Bake for another 15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
