The healthy milkshake you totally need in your life

 

We all love milkshakes the thick, decadent drink that's one of America’s oldest desserts. The milkshake is traditionally made from ice cream (what makes it so delicious!) so it's not super healthy. Of course, it’s fine to indulge every once in awhile and have a real milkshake but for all those *other* times, we have the perfect recipe for you. This drink is just as delicious and rich as your typical milkshake, with less sugar and calories. Intrigued? Here’s how to make it:

What you'll need:

  • 3 ½ cups milk
  • 1 3.5 oz. package of pudding
  • 1 cup ice
  • There are so many variations you can make with this basic starter. Here are some of our favorite versions that only require three extra ingredients:

    White Chocolate & Fruit

  • white chocolate pudding
  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ cup strawberries

  • OREO Cookies & Cream

  • vanilla pudding
  • 4 OREO cookies
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup

  • Cinnamon Snickerdoodle

  • vanilla pudding
  • ½ cup crushed snickerdoodle cookies
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

  • Directions:

    1. Mix all the ingredients together in a blender until it is your desired consistency.

    2. Pour the milkshake into a glass and top with whipped cream and a cherry.

    3. Enjoy!
