3 recipes to fuel your Pokemon Go hunt

 

You're about to head out to catch Charmander so you can finally reach the next trainer level. But first, here's 3 cute Pokemon-inspired recipes for you and your friends to enjoy pre-hunt!

 

Pikachu Sugar Cookies

What you’ll need:

Bunny-shaped cookie cutter
Packaged sugar cookie dough
Chocolate M&Ms
Red mini M&Ms
Yellow food coloring
Black food coloring
White icing 

Directions:

1. Cut out bunny shape cookie dough and bake according to directions on the package. Let cool.

2. Mix yellow food coloring with the icing. Spread over the cookies.

3. Add two chocolate M&M’s for eyes and two mini red M&M’s for cheeks.

4. Use the black icing for the ears and to make a mouth design. Voila!

Pokeball Cupcakes

What you’ll need:

Fresh baked cupcakes (non decorated)

Red, black and white icing 

Directions: 

1. Spread red icing on the top half of the cupcake.

2. Next, spread the white icing on the bottom half.

3. Using the black icing, draw a line horizontally through the center of the cupcake.

4. With the white icing, draw a small circle in the middle of the black line, and fill in.

Poke-Pizza

What you’ll need:

Pre-made pizza dough

Shredded mozzarella cheese

Pizza sauce

Pepperoni

Black olives 

Directions:

1. Spread pizza sauce in an even layer over the dough.

2. Add pepperoni to the top half. Arrange the slices so they are overlapping.

3. Sprinkle your cheese on the bottom half.

4. Lay olives in a horizontal line across the middle, leaving a 2-inch diameter circle in the center.

5. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted, about 15-20 minutes.
